Hyakunen no Ki (Centennial Tree)
As you drive around Date City, you may have seen a particular tree, seemingly avoided around. It is said that this tree was planted at the same as the city’s development and is therefore a part of the city. Today, this “Centennial Tree” is deemed protected by law.
