Frost-covered trees at Orofure Pass

On the border between Sobetsu and Noboribetsu stands Orofure Mountain, with the peak standing at 1230.8m above sea level, the third highest in Iburi. The Lake Toya – Noboribetsu Line passes over the shoulder of this mountain, and that part is the Orofure Pass. The mixed forest of birch and conifer changes by the season, and offers a wonderful view.
