Showa-Shinzan Iron Bridge Remnants Park
Climb up 100 steps from the national highway, and you will find remnants of the JNR Iburi Line, which was carried away by the formation of Showa-Shinzan. Due to volcanic activity from 1943 to 1945, the Fukaba settlement in at the time disappeared. However, their traces are still evident on this iron bridge pier that remains on the hillside of Showa-Shinzan.
