Along the expressway connecting Sapporo and Hakodate, there is one parking area that is the closest to the shore and doubles as an observation park. There is an observation tower that sells the town’s products, as well as playground equipment such as a large roller slide, a promenade in the cherry blossom forest, and birch and maple trees. It is maintained as a recreation park.
